Deleted files -how to recover?

>>> HP designjet 4500

While trying to copy a group of scanned files I tried creating a second folder; after realizing that would not facilitate the copy I deleted the new folder while all the files were selected -whoops! Has anyone (using this particular scanner and file manager) had any luck recovering deleted files?

Thanks for your reply, I would not be "in the know" as how to get recuva working with the HP file system which I assume is DOS based. Could I download the program onto a CD and load it into the disk drive on the monitor?

HP Designjet 4500 Scanner -the screen and keyboard are attached to the side. The system boots up with the HP Invent logo but it does have a disk drive in the back of the screen.

Is there any way of recovering files once they have been deleted off a usb mass storage hd?? I think i've created a partition or something whilst trying to recover my pc as it wouldnt boot up at a

When you delete files from anything on a computer, they are not really removed. What happens is the record(s) for a given file in the MFT (master file table) are removed and the space used for that give file is marked as available. As long as you haven't been copying new files to the drive. Download and run Recuva which is free. Use the deep scan feature and let it run and see what it is able to recover. Then copy the files to a different disc than the one you are recovery from.

HP OfficeJet 4500 drivers for Windows 10

Hello,
To install Drivers for printer and scanner of Hewlett-Packard Officejet 4500 same as G510 don't try to install it on Windows 10. You may found that. So what to do.
find in main HDD c: programfiles x86 hp and delete. (check if you have other hp machines so be careful) .download free program auslogics registry cleaner or with regedit in cmd command and find and delete all entries.
now for example you have the hp officejet 4500 wireless and you have download the OJ_AIO_4500_G510n-z_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5 . find it in the folder and with free 7zip or other like winzip extract it in a folder.
go to printers and add printer. When Win asks for drivers guide the request in extracted folder with checked the subdirectories.
That's it.
Have Fun and make a pray for me.

Recover deleted files

This is a tip explaining step by step how to recover deleted data, even if it is already deleted from your recycle bin. Before we start, you need to download the software required to complete this task.

After you have downloaded the software, Disc Digger, all you need to do is to double click on .exe file to run the software. The program will automatically start. Now, for this purpose, I will recover DATA from my Flash drive. Click HERE to read step by step instructions a using a Flash drive.

I will copy some files to my flash drive, format the drive, then recover the Data I formatted. You need to remember that there will be more data recovered than the data I copied, because I have used this flash drive for a while, hence, the other deleted data will also be recovered.
So lets Start!!

For this purpose, I will copy a movie to my Flash drive, format my Flash drive and recover the movie.

Here is what I did:

After I copied the movie and the format was done, I opened Disc Digger, chose the drive on which I want to recover from, and started the recovery. The pictures below will explain the steps I Followed.

To open the application, just click on the extracted icon.

58524ca.jpg

Now, i chose my Flash drive as the drive which i want to recover from, and clicked next to proceed.

f8c576d.jpg

I chose the dig deeper option, as this option will recover formated files as well, not just deleted files.

71dd789.jpg

At this point you need to choose what type of file you would want to recover, i chose all file types.

Recovery process in progress. My flash drive is 8 GB in size, the recovery took 5 minutes.

Once the recovery is done, you will receive a pop up, which will state that the recovery is done.

Remember, that once the scan is complete, you need to save the files you have recovered. You need to create a folder in which you want to save the file, I just created a Folder on my desktop. Unfortunately, the name does not recover with the file, so you will need to look through the files recovered and after you have saved the recovered file, you need t rename it.

This software can also be used to recover photos from your SD memory card. Al you need to have is a SD card reader, which plugs into your USB port.

I really hope that you can find this helpful.
Please rate accordingly.

Kind regards

Deleting outlook express messages from in box

Visit non-commercial source:

Hi! Follow these steps to get the information:
1. Re-create your mail folder hierarchy by dragging folders into place in the Folder list. Note that any folder you have created to group sub-folders but that does not itself contain messages will not appear in the Folder list and so must be created again.
2. Re-download the list of newsgroups from each news account.
3. Reset your subscribed newsgroups and download messages again.
4. Reset synchronization options on IMAP and newsgroup folders.
5. Edit any message rule that moves or copies messages to folders other than the Inbox.
Also you can use: Easy Outlook Express Repair

Problem for hp photosmart c4500.no hp devices detected. hp solution centre will close now.

Please click on Start-----control Panel------Printers folder.
Please right click on the 4500 series printer icon and delete the icon.
Then, once it is deleted, please right click on the empty space on the printer folder and click on "server properties".
Then click on the Drivers tab.
Highlight the Photosmart C4500 and click on Remove the drivers(Entire package) and then click on OK.

Once the drivers are removed, please insert the cd and click on " add a device" and follow the onscreen instructions.
Once it is done, the issue will be fixed.

The other solution is to uninstall and reinstall the software.

The other solution is --
Please click on start-----Computer----C Drive----Program Files----HP-----Digital Imaging-----BIN.
Here, in the BIN folder, we will see either one of the file, hpiscnapp or hpqscnvw.
Please click on this file and try to scan.
This file is responsible for scanning.
Please make a short cut of that file on to the desktop and scan.

I have a HP photosmart C6180 all-in-one and I am trying to scan a picture onto the computer but every time I go to the scan menu it says Error: Sorry, scanner could not be initialized. (Scanner not found.)

I get this every now and then, usually because, during a scan, I abort for some reason--reset the computer, force-quit, whatever.  The printer driver, I think, leaves some breadcrumbs that it can't recover from when it runs again.
Anyway, I reset the printing system and install the latest HP driver.  If that doesn't work, I delete the HP folder in the Applications folder; then remove whatever files I can find in the /Library folder such as Application Support/Hewlett-Packard, Application Support/HP, any HP file in Preferences, Image Capture/TWAIN Data Sources/HPScanPro.ds.
Then reinstall the driver and things work fine.  I'm thinking this last item, the HPScanPro.ds in the TWAIN folder might be the culprit but I haven't tried just remove it alone--after I remove everything things work so I can't "try it again"...and don't want to!  =)
Anyway, I've had success with this method.  Good luck!

Lost my photos

Download a program called FreeUndelete from here and install it but before you open it, connect your MP3 player or insert your SD card. After you start the program up, select the drive letter that represents the memory you want to scan for deleted files. Click the scan button above the list and wait. If there's too many results, then look near the bottom of the window. There should be a "Filter found files" line where you can enter in the file type of the photos you lost. It probably should be this: "*.jpg" Once you have found the files you want to recover, create a folder you want to save them to in your My Documents folder and copy the path to that folder by right clicking on it then clicking properties. The path you need to copy is the line called Location (don't actually copy "Location: ". Just what's after it :p ) Now paste it in the line called "Undelete selected file(s) To" under the "Filter found files" line. Make sure you paste over the existing text. Finally, click the Undelete button to the right and Voila! check the files out in the folder you created in your My Documents folder.
