Heating element on upper oven of a wall Thermador Oven

We have a ~11 year old Thermador, Convection, Self-cleaning, Double Wall Oven, Model CT227, Serial number 95110119. When we cleaned the Upper Oven following the directions printed in the "Care and Use Manual", it seemed to work well. The next day, the upper oven, on bake or broil, does not get hot although the fan appears to work. There is minimal heat as demonstrated by touching the elements, but the upper oven never gets close to baking / broil temperature. The lower oven works fine. Is there a part or two that we need to replace?

The control switch may be bad on it. If there are 2 elements on the top, they both are not bad at the same time.Check to see if the wires have not burned off the control switch first. Check to see if your breakers are O.K. Turn them both(maybe 3) off and then reset.

Both Elements work perfectly in the broil mode and will heat to 500 degrees. In the Bake Mode temp is automatically set to 350 and oven goes into preheat mode. I watch the elements through the glass and the U shape element turns red and stays red but the zigzag center element will turn red and then immediately cool then red again and cool again over and over until about 326 degrees when both elements go off and never come back on even though they should since oven is obviously cooling down. I'm not sure where the control switch is. I have cycled the breakers because had to turn off power to put in new temperature sensor which had zero effect. Erratic behavior of the center element going on and off and U element staying red until about 326 then goes off. Then temperature display continues going up to 350, gives the tone that preheat has finished. But neither element will ever come on again unless I select the off button and start the Bake process all over again at which time it shows me the current oven temperature as it goes back into the preHeat mode. Thank you for trying to help me.

No heat on convection or self clean

If you have been using the self clean feature, you have probably burned out or damaged the connections to the fan and the convection fan element or thermistor. NEVER EVER use the self clean feature.

Frigidaire double convection wall ovens, model GLEB30T9DSA ... The top oven will not heat, both the bottom element and the broiler.....

I have the Frigidaire PLEB30S8CCA single wall oven. About 3 months ago the baking element appeared to have gone out. We replaced it, but still didn't work. We ended up sending our control board off to a company named Corecentric. They fixed the problem and returned it to us. The oven has worked perfectly ever since. I searched extensively for a new one, but no one sold them anymore. I found Corecentric on Ebay. They were able to confirm over the phone that it was more than likely a control board issue. It cost about $130. My husband was able to do it himself by taking a couple before px and using them when reassembling it.

Double oven no model number Whirlpool 14 years old Door is locked after self clean and display is blank

Hello,

Your oven has resetable high limit thermostat that tripped off on the self clean cycle,im not sure if you have free standing,or a wall oven if freestanding the t-stat is on back panel if wall oven its behind control panel on upper oven and for lower oven its behind the grill between bottom of upper oven and top of lower oven. In either case it has a small red button that can be pushed in to reset it

Hope this helps and if it does please give me 4 thumbs up

Heating element in upper oven heats to about 300 degrees and temperature will not increase.

That seems to me like it could be an issue with the sensor. Ohm it out. It should be around 1100 ohms if it is any good. Check for shorts from each wire of the oven sensor to ground. I have a manual and a TIP I wrote about these Thermadors.

Slow to heat on convection mode, bottom element not get as hot as

Check to see that the convection element is heating. If not, ohm it out, either the element is bad or it is not getting power from the control.
