Is your tablet running Android? There is an Android app you can download that can help you take screenshot of your device. Just google screenshot ultimate apk, download and install it. Another one I recommend is Apowersoft Screenshot.

Open the gallery. Press and hold the screenshot you want to delete. Press delete

To capture a screenshot, simultanuously press and hold the Power button (located on the top-left edge) and the Home button (oval button located at the bottom).

If you do not have a screenshot widget, I suggest downloading one from the Google store.

This should work on any Android 4.0 and newer tablet.
To take a screenshot on your device, press the Volume Down and Power keys at the same time.
The screen will flash, you'll hear a sound, and you'll see a framed image appear and fade into the notification bar. The "Saving screenshot" notification will appear.

Press on the photo and hold your finger down until you get asked if you want to delete.
Where are the photos stored? If in the cloud then for example you will have to to go to your Google+ account if using Picasa, and delete the images and folders there.

I'm not certain, but I believe that is a function of the Android OS. Mine has an icon which takes a screenshot... and I often do, even when I do not want to. I found nothing about screenshot in the Acer manual, so I am not sure how you can make this a function. The manual is at:
