Same problem as the others - any solutions out there? Its frustrating and you just know the service provider is going to tell you to contact motorola. Has anyone else tried contacting mortorola - after you finally negotate their website they're no help either. I think we've been sold a dud.

My motorola motor razr2 when i put charger in it starts to charge and phone turns on and green charge light goes out and it stops charging

ok this can be numerous things lets start with slide the charger cable out gently see if at any time it starts charging as you do this. No 2 could be the battery getting week, and loosing a cell in it. No.3 this is a software glitch that the phone needs for the software to be reinstalled which will take a technician familiar with modding and software.

Charging Problem once i plug my phone to the charger it shows th green light but immediately my phone would come on and then the green light goes off and the phone stops charging

I had the same problem with my Razr V9,... and Motorola and AT&T were of no help!... They both claimed that it was a result of physical damage to the charge connector!... I find this hard to believe, since I used a USB connector to charge my phone via my computer, and that seemed to cure my charging woes!... I've been charging my phone in this fashion since then, and it seems to have no problem, thus far!... How can Motorola and AT&T make a claim that it's due to physical damage to the charge connector?... If that were the case, wouldn't one have the same end result by trying to charge it via a USB connection???... It's still a physical connection!!!... Hope this helps!

Charging problem

I think the charging port is bad and this could be as a result of factory error since the fault is not from you. The phone restarts probably because the charging ports is bridging.

I will advice that you purchase a desktop charger that will enable you charge the battery seperately and when the battery gets full, you insert it into the phone. You could get another battery so that while you charge one, you use the other.

Or if you can look for a repairer, that will help you fix the fault of your phone.

Best wishes

My brand new motorola razr v9 would not charge, the moment you remove the charger the phone goes dead. And when charger is plugged- in the following message appears ''battery low cannot program''. Thank...

If it is a brand new phone, it will not cause this problem. You should return it or exchange it for a better phone ( if you still have the warranty card). The problem here is your phone's battery. Your phone's battery is not functioning well either it's old or corrupted. The solution is to change your battery.

"unable to charge"

I had an old Motorola V3, which used to show me that error. It could result if the charger is not firmly connected to the phone. To diagnose this, try borrowing someone's moto charger. It's also possible that battery contacts could have dust. Try dusting them off so that they're nice and shinny as usual. Finally, try removing the battery for a few minutes, reinsert and charge, leave the phone off when you charge. The phone usually starts working after the regimen. If the problem persists, you'd know which method worked and what failed, so you can press for a warranty. Cheers

'Unable to Charge'?

COULD BE THE PHONE BUT MOST LIKELY ITS THE CHARGER, IF ITS AFTERMARKET GET RID OF IT AND BUY OEM, TRY AND TEST IT OUT WOULD A FREINDS MOTOROLA CHARGER SINCE THEY'RE MOSTLY THE SAME CHARGERS AND SEE IF YOU STILL GET THE MESSAGE.
