Freezer drain freezes, and constant clicking noise
Whirlpool Estate upright freezer. drain repeatedly freezes and freezer has a constant clicking noise that doesn't shut off with increase in temperature until the thermostat is completely off.

The defrost water from the melted frost (ice) collects in the bottom of the freezer. If there is no plugged up drain, then you must remove the water manually with a sponge and bucket after a defrost cycle.
If there is frost forming at the bottom to the door, your door gasket is leaking at that location. You may be able to relax gasket back in place with hair dryer, be carefull you can melt gasket. If it is sheets of ice, your defrost drain may be frozen
look at the bottom of your freezer, you will find a small hole or opening, it is a drain exit point of your defrosted water, try to clean it, maybe there is a small object bocking up the way or the hose all away down
Either your defrost timer, defrost heater or defrost thermostat has failed.
All parts are located behind the lower back panel inside the freezer.
