Hi, I have an Insignia NS-DVD1 player. It has worked perfectly fine, until two weeks ago. Now when we place a dvd into the player, it plays the dvd. But, the screen is split vertically (playing the movie) and there's wording in the middle of the screen saying "PSCAN". Do you know what this means or how to fix this? Please help, if you can.
On the Insignia remote control:
- press power on
- Open disk tray
- click set up button
- click the arrow button pointing left
- press enter
- click the arrow button pointing up
- press enter
- press enter again
I got this off of a website yesterday evening and figured I'd give it a try. Well, it worked. The screen went back to it's original state and the PSAN error (in the middle of the screen) disappeared.
