Bosch 500 series Front Load Washer Door Issue? Washing machine I have a 500 series front loader washing machine. It is about 6 months old. A very heavy machine. I notice the door is heavy as well. It appears that over time this door has sagged a little. Therefore when closing the door, it does not close as easily as before. I suspect this will get worse and may be due to the hinge being weak, where the hinge attaches or the door simply being heavy for the components involved. I am the only user of this machine and have NVR leaned on the door or put any weight on it. Anyone else notice that if they push the door closed it hangs a little lower than it should and doe snot close as easily as when you bought it? This is under warranty and I have an extended warranty as well, so I am not real concerned but would be if this is a re-occurring issue. Thank you Peter
A code E27 means a problem with the door lock. Try
unpluging the machine for an hour and see if it resets the lock.
If not remove the cover on the lower right
corner you will see a white plastic pull cord. Pull the cord and pull open the
door. If that doesn't reset the door lock you will need to replace the lock.
3. Insert the bit into the hole in the door. It will push in a tab, it doesn't take much force. Rotate the hole (clockwise) to 6'oclock and it should come free. (the edges are very sharp so be careful).
4. Once the door is out of the way you'll be greeted by a 3-4" plastic cap with wings so you can unscrew it by hand or with the aid of pliers.
**NOTE - you should also see a ring attached, if you pull this the door should unlatch, but getting the water out first if present is usually a good plan
Once the door is open and you've removed the items you wanted. Unplug the washer for 20minutes or so and then plug it in again, to see if the control "resets".
