Yes there is :)

Your local Auto Accessory shop will advise which loom adapters are suitable for your tuner/vehicle.

These adapters simply plug into your vehicle's wiring, without the need to cut or join any wires.

Thanks so much Scott for trying to help. I did, in fact, go to several auto/audio shops and they acted like they never heard of such a thing. I ended up buying the satellite tuner for my specific stereo so that I could have satellite radio. Needless to say, I was very frustrated. I really appreciate your help though.

How do i hook up auxillary chord to a denon avr-884

There are several "line" inputs that should work.you will need an adapter to go from 3/5mm [1/8" phone] to RCA Stereo. This can be a cable with Male 3.5 mm stereo on one end and two RCA male on the other, or a 3.5 M-M cable plus a 3.5 female to RCA male adapter. or a stereo M-M RCA cable with RCA F to 3.5 Male...
If you have easy access to the back panel, plug into and use the CD/Tape [IN]. Or you can simply plug the RCAs into the front L and R audio and use that input sans video.

Install external monitor from desktop to laptop

If your laptop does not have the 15 pin plug (VGA Port) then you will need to get some type of adapter that will make the monitor work. You probably have a DVI monitor.

You just need to make sure you get the correct type of adapter and make sure the ends that plug into the computer are correct such as male or female. For example think of the human male and female body parts when you look at adapters. The vga port on the computer is called a Female port, but the piece that plugs into it is called Male. It's the same with DVI ports.

I think you need a VGA Male to a DVI Female so below is a link to one and for $2.54 from Cable Wholesale.

Below is a picture of what it looks like.

I've tried an adapter (2.5mm male to 3.5mm female) with a standard 3.5mm stereo cable going from the iPhone to the adapter, but that didn't work. My guess is I need an adapter that has a 4...

Look for this on amazon. Yes, you need a 4-conductor male plug with a "Y" cable that has a mic jack and speaker/phones jack. Be sure it says it's iPhone compatible.

How do you use the mixer with a regular combo amp and stereo mic cable?

This is not hard to do, but it will require some adapters. Hosa company makes adapters to accomplish this. For example, if your Stereo mic has "1/4 inch male phone plugs" Hosa makes and adapter that has 1/4 inch female plug to Male XLR connectors. The Mackie, and just about every mixer in the world these days has Female XLR connectors for it's microphone inputs. So that will handle tha.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "combo" amp. If it has XLR inputs you can use Tip Ring Sleve male output jacks to the output. If your amp as conventional 1/4 inch female input jacks. Than a simple
1/4 inch Male to Male Guitar Cable will work fine. DON'T USE A SPEAKER CABLE as it is uninsulated and you will get 60Hz hum.
I hope this helps,
That looks like a great quality mixer you have!

My toshiba satellite L455S-5975, guitar only sounds in one side

I checked the link and that cable has 1/4" mono plugs.
You need to get a adapter plug mono to stereo, plug the cable into the adapter and then plug the adapter into the computer.
You need a 1/4" mono female socket to 1/4" stereo male plug adapter.
The adapter will split the mono signal into a stereo signal, you will not get a true stereo sound because the sound will be the same on both left and right channels.

Unusual Power Requirement

Should not be a problem, the theory here is Volts * Amps =Watts

5V * 2A = 10w

The alternative is to get a LM7505 ($1 or 2) from radioshack or any electronic supply and regulate the 12v down to 5v. its about 1/2 square IC chip.

Pardon my ASCII:
[_]
input 1.7V - 35V ________| | |_____ +5v (+/- 1%)
Pin 1 Pin 3

will accomodate 1 Amp (1.25 if heat sinked) for the CMOS version, slightly higher for the olde r(less effecient) version

The other pin is ground. OF course you will want to check the specs and pin assignment for the brand you buy, these are typical.

Toshiba Satellite- A135-S4477 unable to connect firewire

There are generally three different types for firewire connectors. In the laptops its usually the mini contact(type 2) so is even on the camcorders. on the desktop PCs and MACs however it could be. either type 1 or the type 2. There is a thired type (B) which is less common.
The link shows all the types, male and female:
