Hello,
I recently picked up a WEP170 and I'm having troubles with it.
I cannot turn it on at all.
It also does not seem to charge at all.
When I attempt to charge it, the indicator light turns red for a moment and goes directly to blue, indicating that the unit is charged.
When I try to turn it on, nothing happens. No lights, no beeps, no nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem, when I first went to charge it up the light very qucikly went to blue and flashes at random after a while it remains blue and only falshes every 10/15sec. I got this while on holiday so returining it is not really an option.

I have tried to turn on my samsung WEP170 wireless headset, and nothing happens. When it was charging it was blinking. But when i go to turn it on to sync it with my phone nothing happens. I have the same problem. Although I haven't used it in a long time, I thought I'd pull it out and start using it again. I put it on the charger and the red light came on for about 1 sec and went to blue. I can't turn it on.

If you haven't used the device for a year, it is not surprising that it may not charge. The rechargeable Lithium ion battery may no longer accept a charge, especially if it was stored in a zero-charge condition. It' probably time to replace it. In the future, try to charge anything you don't plan to use for a while to 50-70% of full charge before storing it. I have destroyed a number of cordless phone batteries by letting them sit for a few weeks after a complete discharge, but luckily they are easy to replace.
must start with headset turned off.
1) turn on headset and keep your finger pressed until the blue light stays on
2) now let your phone search for the device. when it does select it
3) the pin is 0,0,0,0
4) then it should be matched

mine shows the orange light while charging but never turns blue no matter how long i charge it and it wont turn on. i only used it for 1 hour before it shit out on me. i got it on ebay so i dont know what to do
