Where is the filter on my Electrolux front loader washer?

You may need to remove the front panel like on my Frigidare washer. Removing the retaining spring ring holding the seal may be tricky.
I learned from watching a repairman do it.

My filter got clogged because the drum impellers tend to break a piece and let change and stuff go to the filter.

Thank you for your post, cshold!

From the information you have provided you would like to locate the filter on your Electrolux frontload washer. I have located your parts manual and on page six part number 41 is the filter located on your washer. I have included a digital copy of your manual. I hope this information has been helpful to some degree. -Matt

My front load Electrolux washer asks me "clean

You do not need to clean a drain pump. After you have washes so many loads of clothes, soap scum builds up in your tub and will shorten the life of your product. You just need to run it thru the "clean" cycle. You can use 1/2 cup of bleach and NO detergent or you can by a tub cleaner from most grocery stores or Walmart and use that. It'll just remove any soap scum and mineral build-up off your tub. It should be done each time you washer tells you to do it. Hope this helps. :)

Hi I actually have an EDW 1477 washer/ dryer. I keep getting an E20 message, the machine then beeps and stops! Any idea what the error is and what I should do? Thanks

This is a problem associated with the drum not emptying water - usually a blocked empty pump filter. Electrolux have an excellent support site. Go to:

http://electrolux.co.uk/en-gb/Support/Troubleshooter/?Command=Detail&CategoryId=98&SymptomId=1412&DetailId=1412

and click on START ANIMATION for a walkthrough of what you need to do

I need the wiring dia. for alpine 8020

If the alpine 8020 is a deck(head unit) the wire diagram is as followed:

Red: Accessory
Yellow: Constant Power
Black: Ground
Orange to orange/white is a illumination or dimmer wire.
White: front left speakers
Grey: front left (white black and so on usually the negative on the speaker connections)
Purple rear left (purple black = neg)
Green: Rear Right
And if a video deck(light green is park brake)
(which is usually just a ground) so legally it needs to be on your park brake but can be grounded to make it work.

Speakers? (Terminals larger one is positive, smaller one is negative) Place capacitors on if needed to filter out and clear up bass

Hope this helps couldn't look uo what a alpine 8020 was..
