My Sansa 2 gig MP3 player is "stuck" on check mark English and will not advance to any other programing instructions

Please try to reset your sansa as the ipod has hung up due to an error in the files. Find a small hole on the sansa, use a small pin to reset, the set should come alive. Connect your sansa to the PC, select and save all the files to a folder . then delete and format your sansa.thereafter load back the files after a virus scan and making sure are good uncorrupt files. This must solve the issue. Good day

M250 sansa 2 gig

Make sure hold/lock not engaged

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Sansa - sandisk m250 troubleshooting

Try doing a hard reset on a Sansa m250:

  1. Turn off the Sansa. Just pull the battery out for a second and then reinstall the battery without pushing any further buttons.
  2. Plug the Sansa into a computer, and open "My Documents" in the computer.
  3. Open the Sansa file as if it were a drive, then go to the "MUSIC Specific storage" file.
  4. Right click the "MUSIC Specific storage" file, and press "Format."
This should hard reset the Sansa m250. This solution has worked for me.

I do not know if this will work on other Sansa m200 type .mp3 players.

Interupted download after reformat... frozen.

I had a similar problem, although mine kept saying my mp3 wouldn't take subscription music. I just don't use wmp. I have set up so my music downloads to a music folder and then just copy files to my e drive.
