Our new Sanyo tv shuts off by itself

SOURCE: 3 YEAR OLD SANYO DP 32746. SHUT ITSELF OFF, CAN NOT TURN BACK ON

If you leave the tv unplugged for 2 days (atleast) then plug it back in and try to turn it on and if it comes on its the power supply board. If it comes back on it will probably shut off between 30min to 4hrs and you would have to unplug it for 2 days again. All the power needs to drain out of the tv. If thats the case take the back pannel off and check the part number out on the internet. Not hard to do becarefull touching things the power supply does store a little bit or shock in it. I had a similar problem with my Phillips 42 in. LCD HD TV.

Here's the problem. The Power Supply Board. I opened my TV up(warranty was up of course) and found several bad capacitors. Phillips and several other companies were sold capacitors that although were highly rated failed within 5 years because of a lack of preservatives. All sorts of electronic equipment is now being effected due to these defective capacitors.
Solutions?
1. Take it in and have it fixed
2. Open it up, check the board for faulty capacitors(bulged or leaking) Buy a new Power supply board and install it.
3. Remove PSB, remove faulty capacitors and replace with compatible new ones.
