Need a set up manual
SOURCE: i have been given a philip persio watch, (no idea
many of these watches require 2 batteries. One for the analog and one for the digital. I would contact a jewelry store to make sure they will change your batteries; since the watch was free to you it will surely be worth the price of new batteries to get it working.
Also, some models do take only one battery but if it is not at a full charge you may have the issue you described.
If not a battery issue, then there are other detailed steps to follow (the jeweler should be able to help you.)
Note: I recommend contacting an independant jeweler (non-chain and non-mall store) because most non-independants will not change batteries in watches they don't sell.
SOURCE: How do I change the date on a Colibri Pocket Watch?
Usually all quartz watches are supplied with calendar setting mechanism and it is very simple-
try to pull out crown and you will notice that there are two clicks,so, when the crown is pulled out to the first click, the date can be adjusted by the turn of the crown. When crown is pulled further out (second click)- the watch is in hand setting position and you can adjust time.
Did it help?
SOURCE: I need to change the battery
On mine the back turns off using the notches in it. I persuaded it with a small screwdriver. Just be careful it doesn't slip and hurt you.
SOURCE: ihave a guess waterpro titanium watch but
I guess you go to Guess site, fill the details and then find out if you can get the watch manual/instructions. Here is the link: http://www.guess.eu/CustomerCare/ContactUs.aspx If you can't find what you want, it does not mean I gave you the wrong direction, as this is original site.
SOURCE: I have a Philip Persio watch which has Day/Date
LUN is short for "Lunes", spanisth for Monday. You will probably have MAR for Tuesday, MIE for Wednesday, JUE for Thursday, etc...
