It totally depends on your BMI(Body mass index). Also how much you're doing exercise in a gym. According to me I daily eat 2 protein bars. You can talk with your fitness trainer because over-consumption of protein might affect your kidney also so it's better to ask your trainer.
It is assumed for men that the dose of protein is up to 3 g (3.2 g).For women the protein dose is less than 3 grams, about 2.5 grams per kilogram of body weight, ie 60 kilos of a woman can take 2.5 * 60 = 150 grams of protein per day.
Go with whole food proteins or quality whey shake. Make sure you know what you are eating, Cliff is probably one of the highest rated ones, so two bars would be fine along with normal meals. Whey protein is a naturally complete protein, meaning that it contains all of the essential amino acids required in the daily diet.
Whey protein is a rich source of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs), containing the highest known levels of any natural food source. BCAAs are important for athletes since unlike the other essential amino acids, they are metabolized directly into muscle tissue and are the first ones used during periods of exercise and resistance training.
Whey protein provides the body with BCAAs to replenish depleted levels and start repairing and rebuilding lean muscle tissue.
The two solutions above are great. Eat a protein bar as a supplement to a varied diet. You can't get all your nutrition from a protein bar. In general terms an average person needs only 0.5 -1.0g protien per kilo body weight. Many body builders or gym buffs increase thei to 2.0g per kg body weight. If you are 80kg and a regular at the gym with weights, your maximum intake need only be 160g per day. An egg gives you 6g protein, 25g meat or fish about 6g, 200ml milk.Have 2 eggs, 600ml milk and two 125g portions meat and fish a day and you up to 90g, bread, rice or pasta also give protein and should be eaten with protein foods to give you energy or your body uses the protein as an energy source not for building muscle. A a protein shake or bar pre workout is a good idea, if it gives 20 g protein you might like to have one or two at other times of day. Altogether you would then have 3 times 20=60 plus 100g from your diet. Bingo 160g per day. remember more protein don't make sense because the body cannot utilise it and waste products are bad for the kidneys. So please drink at least 30 to 35ml water per kilo, maybe more if you sweat a lot. have a great day!
: There isn't an exact amount to how many protein bars you should eat. I
recommend for you to eat at least 3 meals from whole food and then to eat another
meal or two using either a protein shake or protein bar. It also depends on how
many calories you need to eat per meal. A protein shake with milk only contains
about 300 calories. So if this isn't enough for you, you can add fruits or
healthy fats. Protein bars typically contain 300 calories as well, so here
again you might need to eat more food besides the bar.
My favorite protein bars are the Promax bars. They contain 20 grams of protein and are really delicious! They however contain lots of sugars (25 grams of sugars). If you do buy it, I'd recommend the cookie and dough flavor. If you're looking for a protein bar with fewer sugars, I'd recommend Pure Protein by Worldwide Sports Nutrition.
Protein bars usually cost between $1.5 and $3 depending on the size of the bar. For example, the Pure Protein bars come in a small size (50 grams) and a large size (78 grams) and they cost $1.5 and $3 per bar accordingly. Another example: ISS Oh Yeah bars come in two sizes: 45 grams and 85 grams and they cost $1.69 and $2.19 accordingly.
: I think that in the morning you must eat a whole food meal. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and a protein bar is not enough to give you that morning boost (that you get from carbs and protein bars don't have enough of). However, if you absolutely have no time to prepare breakfast, then eating a protein bar is definitely better than not eating at all. You can add a fruit or two as well.
I recommend for you to eat a protein bar right after your workout because it is high in protein and also has some sugars that will spike your insulin levels, which will help drive the protein into the muscles faster.
: Protein bars offer many benefits. First, they provide you with about 30 grams of protein, which is the minimum amount (30-40 is the recommended amount) of protein you should have in a meal when trying to build muscle. Second, they are very convenient. They are portable and you can eat them at anytime without having to cook them or anything. Third, they are not expensive. The average high quality protein bar costs around $3. Finally, they are simply delicious and you can choose from many different flavors (peanut butter, chocolate brownie, cookies and cream, chocolate caramel, cookie dough, s'mores, rocky road brownie, and many more).
The most popular protein bars are: Detour Bars, Promax bars, Pure Protein Bars by Worldwide Sports Nutrition, ISS Oh Yeah bars, Supreme Protein Carb Conscious bars, VPX Zero Impact bars, and Met-Rx Protein Plus Food bars.
Most protein bars contain around 30 grams of protein, which is the amount
of protein you need to have in a meal. Some protein bars come in smaller sizes,
so they have a fewer amount of protein. In this case, you should eat two of
them to get the necessary amount of protein.
