The ipod volume on my Clarion NX602 is really loud at the lowest volume setting. The volume is fine in all other modes. I have tried adjusting the volume on the ipod itself, but it doesn't change anything. How do I get my volume back to manageable levels. This happened right after i updated the software to the latest version. I followed the update instructions to the letter.

I have the same issue. Started a few weeks ago by locking up the unit while using the nav. Then the nav app will not load at all. Any luck on getting a resolution?

Maybe the owners manual would help. It says you can adjust the sensitivity of the AUX input through a menu. It sounds like the AUX sensitivity is just set to max. Look for the 'to change other settings' chapter, instructions are in there. If you don't have the manual, find it on the official website. http://www.clarion.com/us/en/products/2005/audio/source_units/cd/DXZ555MP/us-en-product-pf_1133851137392.html The link to download it is on the upper right.
Sorry I don't have a solution. We have this model and ours is loud also, at the very lowest setting. I disconnected some of the speakers, and sometimes have to put the working speakers into a drawer to lower the sound.
