If you know which is the wireless card that your using here is the link to download the driver..
XP Drivers
For Intel Pro Wireless Card

If you dont know which card you have
go to www.support.dell.com
Click Warranty Information
Click Warranty Status
Enter your system Service tag which can be located on the bottom of your laptop..Click Continue
Click on Original System Configuration..
go through you order details you can find which card you have
If it says DELL WRLS 1390or1490or1495or1505 or any number that means you have dell wireless card so download according from the above links i have pasted..
If it says Intel PRO 3965 or 4965 ABGN the click on the intel driver link above and install..thats all

and by network controller im assuming you mean the broadcom Driver (controls where you actually plug in the ethernet/network cord)
