I have a dell xps m1530 and i keep getting a message saying that the NTLDR is missing to press any key to restart but when i press a key it just repeats the same message is there anyway to fix this?

This can happen if you have a non-system disc in your CD tray and attempt to boot up the computer. If there is a disc in your CD tray try removing that and see if it works. If that does not work you should go into your BIOS (often your computer will give you a key to press when booting up). Go into boot priority (you may need to look around a little) and make sure that your hard drive is the primary boot device, and not the CD or DVD drive.
I hope this helps!

Dell xps m1330 dvd slot cannot load. if cd/dvd is inserted, it is ejected instantly.

Update firmware version from the support site. support .dell.com enter your "service tag" to get proper device driver then flash or update latest BIOS software from the support site aswell

My laptop won`t eject the cd

if you look on the drive youll see a very small hole, unfold a paper clip and push it in carefully, that will manually eject the drive

My dell xps m1530 will not and the eject will not function

The M1530 slot drive has no manual eject. If the drive is not ejecting the media, then a service call is required to replace the optical drive. (The old drive has to be removed from the chassis to get the media out of it)

Hopefully, the system is under warranty.

if not, information on removing the optical drive is here:
