I have a Jacuzzi whirlpool bath model U640 Espree 536 and it wouldn't shut off. I cut the air line off at the pump and nbow it won't stay on for more than a few seconds. Any ideas?

if the air blower will not shut off then it will either be the air switch in the blower or the control module that operates the blower will be bad.

It sounds like the machine uses security-type fasteners, which require special screw bits. You may be able to remove the screws with one of these security bits, such as those sold by Harbor Freight.

When a jetted tub will not turn off it is usually because the air switch in the motor has quit functioning.
A new air switch for your pump costs around $20

The air button on your tub may be bad and not sending enough air to the air switch located on the bath pump.
The way to check this is to remove the bath pump and see if you can turn the bath pump on by taking a large straw and blowing into the air switch on the bath pump to see if you can get the bath pump to turn on.
If the bath pump comes on then you know you have a bad air button.
If you cannot get the bath pump to turn on then remove the air switch and plug the two wires going to the air switch together and then plugging the pump into a power outlet you know has power.
If the bath pump comes on then you know you need a new air switch in the motor.
If the motor does not come on then you need a new bath pump.

you will have to look to see where the fitting is to install this heater.
there are two styles of heaters they use (mostly)
In-line pressure heater that installs after the discharge of the pump but before any of the jets.
the in-line Vacuum heater installs before the front of the pump in the suction line.

There is a small nipple on the back of the pump or the black box on top of the pump. This is where the tube attaches from the switch.

Hello. yes you can replace the switch. All of the parts come with instructions. plus you can call the jacuzzi repair technician directly and have him/her talk you through the procedure at 866-905-2289. here is the owner manual in case you don't have one

either one of ur hoses has come off or is stopped up get to the sides and see if one has come off
