YES, I agree with the prev. answers - check the coffee chute as it is likely to be stuck. Remove the brew group and use a spoon handle to poke into it and clear it out. If you are not getting solid pucks of coffee into your hopper, you are not getting coffee out of the grinder. So your coffee is weak because every time you brew, you are only getting a small amount of coffee beans through the machine. Make sure you hear beans being ground up. If you are not grinding beans then you have a problem with your grinder. If the motor spins and you do not hear beans grinding, you will have to have the grinder serviced.

When the grinder stops to work i would turn the grinder to more coarse. this might help if the case is that it has gotten clogged.
SOURCE: No coffee brewing with beans, but with coffee brewing with ground coffee.
It is possible that the grinds chute is blocked, remove the brew unit and check the chute from the grinder chamber, make sure that it is not blocked with coffee grounds.

easiest thing to do is put it outside to dry or use a blow drier to dry it up, it should be ok

Try this remove all the beans using a vac cleaner, then turn to lowest-finest number, then remove screws on grinder lift chamber and turn knob to coarsest setting and reassemble and try machine, remember to adjust grind when machine is grinding.
SOURCE: the bean grinder doesnt grind, only water comes out
If it is working before, probably the coffee chute is clogged up. You can remove the bean hopper and see where the coffee drop into the brew unit.If the chute is still attached just clean the blockage, if it is broken you will have to remove the grinder and replaced it.

The coffee is like dirty water in its colour and has little or no 'creama' froth on top. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
thank you - but yes, we have tried that too ;)
