I have a mp3 that I bought for my grandson and he hasn't had it a month and when I tried to download his music the medal part on the connection from the mp3 player to my laptop, broke off....I bought a new connection and it does not work either.......I want to just get it replaced since it was a birthday gift and wal-mart has a 15 day policy on electronics....

    Thank you Jane

Olivia, dear, please invest in a few lessons in capitalization, punctuation, spacing, and word separation. Chat-speak will be the death of the English language! Hold down the on/off switch and the volume switch at the same time. This will reset your device, but it will also erase all of your saved music.

Engine turning over but wouldnot idle

Well, 2 things come to mind. (1) There could be a dirty gas filter not letting the engine receive enough gas to idle and certainly not enough to rev to any rpm. (2) Depending on the mileage, the catalytic converter could be partially or completely stopped up, not letting the engine expel exhaust gas and subsequently causing unburned fuel to bog the engine down.Lastly, again depending on mileage, the oxygen sensors could be needing to be replaced because of exhaust fouling. Hope this helps.

Had work done on coumper and router now my zeepad says demo across screen and lost all apps everything. google i think backs up my stuff , just dont know how to fix it . help please frances sutton

Frances, I think your unit is in some sort of demo mode. Did a google search and I am thinking you should contact the company that sold this unit to you or the maker of the tablet to see if it can be taken out of demo mode. I don't think the problem has anything to do with your computer or internet. Hope this helps.

Willnot start just flashes twice then pause then twice again when wash cycle is selected but it does empty the base of water if you manualy put some in then it goes back to flashing its code or thing

most problems with dishwashers stem from abuse of the door locking switch because it gets used so often. I would check that switch on the door does something keep it from latching ,does it work or if it lartches does it close the switch when the door closes. I would venture to say that is your problem

Failes to detect mp3player

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

-Then Recharge your mp3 player
- turn it on and it should work

Music is lost

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.
