Try adjusting the top thread tension and see if that helps the loose stitches also try a new needle and make sure the machine is threaded correctly using every thread guide.

Your stitches may be too far apart. But, most likely the issue is that the tensions are not correct. If one thread lays in a smooth straight line on the fabric, the other thread tension is too loose, ie the bobbin thread lays on the fabric and the top thread is going all the way through the fabric and shows on the bobbin side, then the top tension needs to be tightened. The tensions are correct when both threads meet in the middle of the fabric.

Lift the pressue foot off the fabric. Hold the thread spool with one hand and lightly pull the thread hanging out the back of the needle. This should seat the tread into your top tension discs properly. Now try sewing again. If it still throws loops, you either do not have your machine threaded correctly or your tension on top is set to zero.
Suggest you do rethreading ,then test the stitches on straight stitch. If top stitches is loose you have to reduce the upper thread tension, if the bottom stitches is loose you have to increase the upper thread tension. Adjust accordingly till you can get a perfect straight stitch. If okay then you can continue your embroidery work.
If the thread is loose on the bottom of the fabric, it's actually the top thread is too loose. Think of 2 little elves playing tug of war in your machine, one on toip and one underneath. If you have loops on bottom, the top needs to pull harder (tighten top tension)
You need to disengage the cutting blade by openingfirstly opening the front and left hand side covers. pull on the larger of the two silver knobs and slide the red lever towards you. I'm not sure what the tension settings are, but I'm certain you need to reduce them a fair bit to aid in the rolling effect. I only use 3 threads when doing a rolled hem. My description isn't too detailed but I hope it helps!
If the top stitch is loose, then you need to tighten the bobbin tension: if the bottom stitch is loose, tighten the top tension. Hope this helps. It could also be the size needle and thread you are using for a particular fabric. Different fabrics require different notions.
