Start your PC press F8 and goto recovery !!

else goto BOOT settings reset and then try again.

else insert installation disk then start laptop and press F8

goto recovery and recover your computer to earlier settings !!

Testimonial: "How long to I press F8 and at what stage of PC power? Nothing is getting me to configuration or recovery possibilities. Ugh!"

F8 has never done a dm thing. I used to be able to use F2, F9 or F10 but neither work now. My only problem became worse when I changed "load default setup" to the original and now it just powers in a black screen. Thanks for the effort. I've already tried a dozen other options, BTW.

Other suggestions after Yaw Spok were already considered during Windows Upgrade and not very helpful considering the current hurdle I'm engaged in, but the attention is grately thanked.

i've faced the same problem for many times during my experiance with troubleshooting. i would recomend to try all of the known settings like recovery/configuring bios/sesetting hardwares and all that may help. your problem seems like windows is not able to aquire perfect driveres to handle hardwares, so you may have to put some effort to solve this. setting up flash drive as boot option may work in your case (google: how to boot with USB ) hope that's helpful

Thanks...USB boot has never been attempted, but I'll try that. Believe it or not, I moved my tow motherboard memory sticks back to there original locations. (After I had removed them to clean, I placed them in the wrong slots!) Good grief! So, right now I'm having a chance to upgrade easily. If not, I attempt the USB boot with drivers included. I so much appreciate your wise, geniousness you've been sharing.

If you have windows 7 32bit, suggest you use the vista 32bit drivers, since 7 can do vista drivers.

If you have windows 7 64bit, suggest you use the vista 64bit drivers, again 7 can do vista drivers.

Your new camera driver is simply not compatible with the 64 bit version of windows. Get a camera that is specifically designed with a driver for Win 7 64 bit version.

I have HP Pavilion 9727cl Entertainment notebook. After upgrading to windows 7 from Windows Vista ,it cannot find driver for coprocessor. On HP site they have listed some of their products for which...

haha. very funny. I have upgraded my laptop to windows 7 and am very satisfied with it except for one thing. The scroll keys on the touchpad are no long supported under Windows 7 vs. Vista. So, I was, like you disappointed that this happened. Maybe I should have been satisfied with windows vista, for that part of the computer working under vista but not 7.

I, however, like the windows 7 operating system very much compared to the slower buggier vista operating system.

Good luck on buying new pc or laptop computers that employ windows 7 or above (for the future).

Hp pavilion entertainment pc tx2032la microphone is always on when you plug in the headset there is an echo

I'm assuming your running vista Premium - go to control panel - audio - selected properties - recording - mute it to 50% when in operation then apply close and reboot. this should restrict the sensitivity of the inbuilt microphone - if you have upgraded to W7 you will need to upgraded the audio driver package using the vista audio drivers unless there is one on the HP website.
