Battery wont charge,when plugged in phone lights up for 5 secs and screen fades Away

I've had this phone for a while now and it was working just fine until friday when the battery went down and i charged it.It never charged.The LED light on the phone goes from red to orange to green in a matter of minutes and when i switch it on the screen lights up with these numbers IPL 1.00 SPL 1.01. 1.109 GSM 0.3.28.60 CLEAN HIVE (1) N FORMAT HIVE(2) N Sometimes I press keys 1 and 2 to change the N to Y all to no avail. Could anyone please help me to determine the nature of the problem and any solutions? Thank you

I now charge the phone all day all to no avail and the green light(idle mode)comes on however anytime i switch it on the screen fades before the 'Windows mobile'screen loads.

I have the same problem as billuxv's. I heard that the battery normally dies if you drain it all by using your phone and if the battery is completely dead you can not charge it afterwards. but if you charge it while your phone is on than the battery will keep on chraging the battery in normal way. I have used about 12 batteries(bought from ebay) and all of them died like that. this time I am not letting my phone to drain all the battery becuase i charge it again before it is drained. It is hard to keep the phone all the times charged but this way you may keep on using your phone.

I had the same problem . even in a charger the light will goes from red to green in a min try a pretty thick USB cable. card reader cable that wont work any way.

Wont turn on

Phone will still boot without a SIM card usually just comes up and says that you need a SIM card to operate the phone but it will still boot/charge without it. Could be bad battery most HTC phones will not boot without a operational battery. Pull the battery and plug it into a charger if the Charging light goes on for like 3-5 sec. then off most likely battery is faulty if no light at all, could be a bunch of different reasons.

Iphone will not turn on! Shows Apple logo then fades out?

Leave the phone plugged into the car charger with the "plug into itunes" screen long enough to build a charge. It sounds like the phone is dying before it gets a chance to connect to itunes and start charging through the computer. If this does not work then the store clerk was correct and your battery will need replacing

i suggest to send it to your nearest repair shop to prevent further damage from other parts of your laptop.

I am trying to charge the battery. The charger is flashing a red light and the battery won't seem to charge. Placed it in the camera just in case, and it won't turn on.

Well, with my Nikon, the light flashes to show the battery is charging. It stays on when it's charged. My battery and spare battery are 2 years old and working fine. I'd say wait till it stops flashing...hour or 2 in my case, though I never let them run down all the way.
