CONSTANT LEAK PROBLEM How can we stop the coffeemaker from leaking? Our coffeemaker is 6 months old. Three days ago it developed the problem of the coffee constantly leaking through the normal dispense area in a constant strong drip, until it was all gone in the reservoir. It's like something is not closing or shutting off completely. It doesn't seem to matter whether or not you have dispenced a cup of coffee or not--a short while after brewing, it will start to drip. Then after some is dispensed, it is a much steadier stream of leakage. We made sure the filter was in properly and cleaned everything well, but it still is malfunctioning. Perhaps a valve not closing issue.

Coffee drips from the normal dispensor tube and will only stop if I tap the dispensor handle.

Leaks after a cup of coffe is dispensed and stops if the dispensing handle is tapped.

Everytime I brew coffee, it leaks out of the front in a constant drip. It stopped for a few months but now it's back at it. Any fixes?

The stopper in the bottom of the holding tank has coffee bean, or grounds keeping it from closing all the way. You must remove the tank, and flush it out with water. Try not to fill the basket too full when brewing. Also, if you grind your own, try a finer grind, and again, be carful not to over fill the basket.

I tink I have probably the same problem with my La Marzocco 3AV coffee machine. But what is the stopper and how is it look like? where is the holding tank that I can find? How to remove the tank? I will try not to over the portafilter/basket when brewing, but first I would like to stop this leaking problem!

Try using straight vinger through the complete cycle then run plain water through the cycle see if that helps. It helps to clean the machine.

Hi, my husband just this morning spotted the cause of the leaking problem with our DCC-2750 coffee maker. The coffee filter basket holder has a little handle loop that lines up with the 5:00 position. You have to PUSH DOWN AND LOCK IT INTO PLACE which opens the drainage hole at the bottom, allowing the liquid to go into the pot. Closing the lid is probably supposed to do this but sometimes doesn't (the manual says "press firmly on cover to be sure it closes securely").

    Hope this helps someone else....

Why did fridge stop working, then freezer 4 days later?

how it works. 6 month ago another technician came to this service call and found out that system is low on freon. So he charge it up with freon and add leak dye into the system. Leak was really slow, so he could not find at first. Here Im 6 month later, found leak dye with special light (dye leak set (tools) cost about 180$), did not need to order any parts, but replaced copper tube. Customer paid around 600$ for repair total for this repair. Hope That Helps!

GE Monogram built-in loses gas within 2 days

You need to find out where the leak is located to repair otherwise if you continue to charge with Freon the fridge is going to get moisture inside the sealed system. A lot of times the evaporator will leak causing moisture to be pulled in. The leak could also be in the condenser coils or the yoder loop. Can you charge it again and use soapy water to help you to locate the leak? Are you equipped to repair the refrigerator? Thanks John Tripp Sea Breeze

2001 ford taurus Have a constant leak oil light has been on for weeks 3 days ago car would not turn on went to auto advance to get the battery check; replace battery car still shut off, permenantly f

There are some simple kits which have a glowing fluid which can be seen with a UV ultraviolet light supplied in the kit.

You add the glowing liquid to the engine, run the motor, and inspect the drips for the leak location. Then you fix that bad part.

Now sometimes the sending units do leak. But any gasket or seal can leak just as well.

Do not run the engine with the oil light on. Check your oil level constantly. No oil=no engine.

Can not speculate on battery problem from info provided.

Freezer not getting cold. Refrig only 7 months old

Make sure it's not against the wall. Away from any corner or wall. It needs space to breath in the back. The Condenser always needs to breath. Constant venting. It maybe also that it has a leak somewhere.

03 Dodge Caravan has constant ticking sound and is now appearing to have slight trans fluid leak. Mechanic checked- not lifters/valve related. What is it??

Fual injectors do click when getting old. They still work as long as they don't clog or leak. The trans leak sometimes mean it need a service. (pan filter and fluid)
