The stopper in the bottom of the holding tank has coffee bean, or grounds keeping it from closing all the way. You must remove the tank, and flush it out with water. Try not to fill the basket too full when brewing. Also, if you grind your own, try a finer grind, and again, be carful not to over fill the basket.
I tink I have probably the same problem with my La Marzocco 3AV coffee machine. But what is the stopper and how is it look like? where is the holding tank that I can find? How to remove the tank? I will try not to over the portafilter/basket when brewing, but first I would like to stop this leaking problem!

Try using straight vinger through the complete cycle then run plain water through the cycle see if that helps. It helps to clean the machine.
Hi, my husband just this morning spotted the cause of the leaking problem with our DCC-2750 coffee maker. The coffee filter basket holder has a little handle loop that lines up with the 5:00 position. You have to PUSH DOWN AND LOCK IT INTO PLACE which opens the drainage hole at the bottom, allowing the liquid to go into the pot. Closing the lid is probably supposed to do this but sometimes doesn't (the manual says "press firmly on cover to be sure it closes securely").
Hope this helps someone else....

Coffee drips from the normal dispensor tube and will only stop if I tap the dispensor handle.
Leaks after a cup of coffe is dispensed and stops if the dispensing handle is tapped.
Everytime I brew coffee, it leaks out of the front in a constant drip. It stopped for a few months but now it's back at it. Any fixes?
