I can not use the print shop deluxe 20 on window 7, it's asking to use the CD and is not reading it, what can I do Please Help. thank You

I install the program rather easy and it comes with two art CDs and media shop CD, label creator CD and a CD for Click art font 2 and two Cds for printshop professional business labels (install CD and Program CD. it is alot of stuff and i have not use them at all yet I just start to use the print shop 20 itself and it makes it very hard to work with it for basic card making. So i need to see if there is a way to make this program compatible with window 7 or I have to buy new version?

Try running it from My Computer ,sometimes it takes a while to start.
what operating system are you using ?

download free virtual machine then you can install xp on your windows 7 64 bit pc. then install your print shop 6.0 and you can use it just like you did on your older pc. windows 7 professional has a mode that you can also use windows xp.

What you can try:

1. De-install Print Shop
2. Re-install Print Shop in the Windows XP Compatibility mode.

My computer says that the print shop deluxe version 20 is not compatable with vista.

Print shop deluxe version 20 is not designed to work on windows vista. it was designed to work on windows 98 up to windows xp only. Try using a version that is compatible with vista like version 23.

Print shop is not installing

Do the following to re-install it again

Step 1. Go to your start menu and type into the SEARCH box RUN>a dialog box would come up

Step 2: Type REGEDIT>click on continue when it asks you to.

Step 3: Click the arrow beside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Click software and delete Print Shop> Try Installing the software again.

Error unabling access to printshop pro 20

TPS Window Appears on Print Shop® Splash Screen Description Solution When attempting to open Print Shop® 20, a TPS window opens on the Print Shop® splash screen. The only option available in the small TPS window is to click OK. This issue occurs when Microsoft® .NET Framework 1.1 has been uninstalled. Reinstalling Microsoft® .NET Framework 1.1 will resolve this issue. View the remainder of this technical note for the instructions. Complete these steps:

Close all windows and programs and return to the desktop.

NOTE: If the TPS window is still open on the desktop, click OK. The Print Shop® splash screen will close.
Insert the Print Shop® 20 DVD or Install CD into the proper drive.
Double-click the My Computer icon. For Windows® XP, click Start and click My Computer.
Right-click the CD/DVD icon that represents the drive where the disc was placed and click Open. The contents of the disc will display.
Double-click the Setup folder.
Double-click 1033dotnetfx.exe. The installation of Microsoft® .NET Framework 1.1 will begin.
Review the License Agreement, click to place a dot by "I Accept" if the agreement is accepted and click Next.
Click Install to install the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1.
When the "Installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is complete" message appears on screen, click OK.
Launch and use Print Shop® 20.
