SOURCE: changing language
Hello
You cant change your language on your laptop true control panel, you need to reformat your laptop in the English language. the options in control panel is just for your regional settings and keyboard settings and so on.
only OS that you can change language in is the Vista Ultimate and then you need to install a language pack.

I sometimes have the same problem and usually it's because the router somehow looses connection with the laptop. You may require a stronger router/different kind of router. Have you tried to move the location of your router first to see if that could be one of the problems ?
Hope this works for you.

try connecting to an external monitor, you may have changd the screen resolution to an unsupported one. Use the ext. monitor to change it back to the lowest setting and go up from there.
SOURCE: I have just bought a Packard Bell Dot S2 netbook.
its a short cut used to brighten the screen, or turn the volume up /
down instead of using the mouse.
its in a different colour so, that any other key you see that has in
that colour will do that task when you hold down the FN key and press
the other.
so that why there a FN on there .. to turn off wifi press FN and F1 or F2 on there. and it should work
Wireless problems with a Packard Bell PC or laptop can be caused by a variety of issues.
The best troubleshooting resources are the documentation that came supplied with the computer, and the Support section of the Packard Bell website.
Unable To Detect Wireless Network
If the Packard Bell machine is unable to detect a wireless network, the computer itself or the network could be at fault.
Check that a wireless signal is being broadcast via another PC or device, and check that are wireless adapter is installed, complete with the latest drivers, which are available at the Packard Bell website.
Unreliable Wireless Network
If the wireless connection is unreliable, intermittent or very slow, it suggests a problem with the Wi-Fi broadcast.
Try positioning the computer closer to the router broadcasting the wireless signal, or use a signal booster to improve the range.
Download and install the latest driver updates from the Packard Bell website and through the Windows Update tool.
Unable To Connect To Wireless Network
If the computer can detect the network but is unable to connect to it, a network security key may be required. This should have been configured by the person who set up the network. Consult the documentation that came with your router for details of how to change it or generate a new key.
Hope this helps
