See if there is a broken piece sitting in the bottom of the machine. It is small enough that you can turn it upside down and shake it. All machines have some type of guide rail and a positive lock at the end.

the second printer who made that? you bought a new 1600w?? and no you can not use the new cartridge in the old. go out buy new OEM cartridges for the printer the first one. on the new printer. did you clean the rollers did you ensure the printer setting for the media (paper) was the same as on the computer. was paper properly installed landscape versa porait.

Have you checked the toner cartridge.? as this will prevent the printer from running.
Have you checked the laser drum..? This will also stop printing.
If the drum has failed or used up its running time, you will need to replace the drum and have the internal counter reset. This may require a service person to call over and fit the new drum resetting the counter as well..
Have you tried checking the printers software installed on the system to see what errors it may give you. Most printer software has inbuilt diagnostics which will tell you what the issue may be..

This happen after I cleaned the waste box for Konica Minolta Magicolor 1600W

I had the same problem one time, they told me to pull out all of the toner cartriges, power off, power on, power off, replace all cartridges and the problem went away.

Who knows why. If this doesn't work....

Call Konica Minolta tech support.

They were pretty helpful to me.

You need to clean the printer. See your manual for instructions. It is probably dust on the laser lens
