I am afraid that there are incompatibilities between speedstream 6520 and Voip service. I will need to look at this a little bit further but I think the only workaround is a firmware update. (modified version of the original)

If the device is always rebooting this is related to a firmware problem, so what you can do here first is to check if there's any firmware upgrade for this unit if there is just go ahead and do a firmware upgrade, but if there's no update available have the unit replace....

Hi! There will be a problem with the wireless connection. I suggest before you go to windows 7, check at your router website if there is a new update for the firmware for windows 7.

What IP address you use to setup your system the standard one that I use on the browser is 192.168.1.1 or 100. Try it and see if that will take you to it remember to keep your unit on.(did you try to connected via usb tell you do your update?) if not try to downloads another driver try this link and let me know. Updates for this model were probably discontinued some time ago. For basic routing functions, you don't really need to upgrade. If you want this router to provide some basic firewall functions to protect against hackers on the Internet, it would be best to upgrade to one of the inexpensive LinkSys, Netgear, or D-Link routers that have improved firewall capability.
