Philips norelco G370 charger not working..
The prob is simple, the imported ones have adapters made for 110 Volts whereas in India the standard is 240, so ur adapter has simply 'shot out'. I faced the same prob and if u know little electrical stuff, fixing it is a piece of cake. first ull have to buy one of those adapters which have an adjustable output voltage, i found only one online on rediff.

but i bought mine from kerala for 90bucks. then all u hav to do is cut the pins of both ur new and old adapter, and join the old original pin to ur new adapter, seal the joint with tape, adjust the voltage on the adapter to 1.5V and ur good to go :D
I did this just today and the trimmer is back-and-running!. XD

Hope it helps since this will settle it for 200 bucks flat and since a new original philips charger costs over 1k... :

Where is serial number on philips BEARD TRIMMER QT4019?
Remove comb from the unit. Look for a 4 digit number on the backside of the trimmer between the red strip(the adjustment ring) and the cutting blade
