"Smart Key" will not open doors on 2002 Mercedes ML500

Do u have a spare key? If so does it work ??? Problematic key may need re-coding?

sounds like the latch is sticking on the door striker, try spray lubricant into the locking mechanism where the latch is and tighten all the screws

you have to stick the key in the trunk and turn it to the lefy while hittin the unlock button on the key pad 35 times has to be 35 and it will unlock. my battery died and it locked the trunk as u know i coudn't jump it cause the battary is in the trunk haha but yeah 35 times while hitting the key. mercedes wont tell u but my buddy works for inskip and filled me in your o so welcome from one s430 owner to another

go to dealer to reset system, or download instructions from internet. It may be possible for a tow-truck operator to do this, but ask and check first, so you don't pay for nothing.

2002 ML500 no sound on FM radio every thing else works ? Anyone no why ?

Doesn't sound like the batterys flat in the remote Probably have to go to a merc dealer

probably a leak in the air line to that door, therefore not reaching pressure.
The central locking should work on compressed air
would need to strip door panel down and check lines and listen for air leaks when operated

The key has a micro chip in it to detect the keyless It has to be taken apart and battery put in

this is nothing to do with rear door not opening,the lock is stuck because no body has ever oiled the mechanism with a good old fashioned oil can,best thing ever invented the oil can,forget the silly fish oil sprays
