Model z-110 white powder build-up around the outside end of the motor. no water leaking at this time. motor runs on 240 v. BOB ADAMS

Ok first thing you need to do is get engine cleaned on outside.Once clean drive car youll find the oil leak after this.If leaking for long time oil will travel on outside of engine many a mechanic diagnose oil leaks incorrect.In my earl days as a tech i did heaps and fixed the correct probem.

If you have what looks like a white disk in the center, you need to clean around the outside edge of the disk and put a thin layer of good high temp sillicone around it and wait a full day before using it.If the outside edge of the disk leaks the washer will fill and run but will not drain.

I assume you have water coming out of the dispenser and running down the front of the machine. You probably have a build up of soap powder in the water inlet and it is restricting the flow and backing up.
Soap powder is only partially soluble in cold water and a residue of undissolved powder builds up over time, one of the reasons I use a liquid detergent. Remove the dispenser tray, it should pull out fairly easily with just a little resistance. Try and clear any blockages, hot water is best as it dissolves better. Clean the tray you have removed and re-assemble.

There could be water entering the blower motor that is freezing and not letting the motor spin. You can remove the blower motor and inspect for water. If there is water in the motor... the source of the leak will have to be pinpointed.

your motor overheated from too low a voltage if theres a manual reset try this,also replace the two motor start and run capacitors on the motor body

its a fungus from running the air the drain hole is probably clogeed and it dont drain right so calcium builds up try running the heater and spraying lysal in the vent on the outside by the windshield

5600 watts will not operate off 120 volts.
This is a 220/240 volt hookup.
There are 2 legs of 120 volts each that operate the dryer.
The only part requiring 220v is the heater.
Otherwise 120v routes through the various controls and relays.

If you smell coolant then there is a small leak, it is most likely the water pump shaft seal, look for stains, coolant leaves a white powder when it dries, look on the underside of the hood for any coolant stains from it been flung there by the spinning water pump. Also have a radiator pressure test run, good insurance aginst an engine overheat if leak worsens, engines are very expensive to repair if overheated badly.

The white powder in your ice cubes is the water line to the dispencer,The water in the pipe forms a white layer after some time,almost like the kettle around the aliment,you just have to clean the pipe out,i normaly use some hot water with a bit of vinigar,just make sure you flush the system after wards and there you go....
