Having issues with playing my stored videos on my phone and playing any vids from YouTube as well. Only thing that comes up is sound and a blank white screen. What's the solution to my problem?

You have to convert your videos to mp4 video first, then you can copy the mp4 videos to the Video folder on your phone storage. If you don't know how to convert video, I think this step by step direction would help you a lot.

I've heard this is a Youtube issue. If my download speed was fast enough to set the volume a week ago it should be fast enough today. I think everyone who recently upgraded software is having this same issue. YT needs to get on top of it because it is obnoxious.

Once downloaded the youtube app from play store onto your phone. Its easy to send vids to email account. Facebook etc. I understand its easy for sharing favorate vids n stuff but hard 2 save best stuff 4urself.try holdin your finger down on somethin 4a while untill an opption comes up. It works 4 all else. Sorry not so much help. Total goodluck 4 ya!!!

if your phone supports flash lite it should definitely play youtube vid's
if it has flash lite, just check out for the correct settings for streaming

Hi Leon6253, Ive been having the same problem, noticed it about 4 days ago. On my iPhone 3Gs, 32gig, I have 2 pages of "saved to homescreen" icons of specific & individual music videos at YouTube. Previously they all worked FINE!! (I loved having the tiny pics/icons of whichever singer & their specific URL Direct to their song on my home screens). I would simply tap the icon/pic & YouTube would automatically open up & start playing. NOW, ZILCH !!! Instead it takes me to a YouTube page for that particular song but there is NO VIDEO window & NO BUTTON to "play video"!! Just a white square where the video normally is. SO WHO SCREWED THIS UP? YOUTUBE & GOOGLE, or what??? This is very distressing. Not only does the video NOT PLAY, but it also automatically changes my prior icon/picture into a RED icon with a "play video" type button. But if you tap on it, STILL NO VIDEO, but it merely goes to the page for the video &, as described above, there is NO VIDEO not PLAY button on the webpage!! Grrrrr. Sorry, I don't have a solution, just wanted the world to know you are not alone.

One thing you can do is to make sure you have the latest version of flash player. Next update java and make sure you have the latest version. If it still doesn't play videos then try to use a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

This is not your system problem. Your connection speed is slow then system. After playing about 5 seconds video the remaining video is in progress for download from server, this process is technically called buffering. If you can not wait for buffering then you will need a fast connection. This will solve your problem.
