I have the rechargeable battery pack on in my wii fit balance board. I the power keeps cutting out and it is saying communication is lost on the balance board, and to push the power button again. This keeps happening over and over again.  The battery pack is brand new, and the light is on on the bottom of the wii fit board. What do I do.

If you remove the rechargable battery pack and put regular batteries back in, are you still having the same problem? If so, I would recommend returning the rechargable unit and replacing it.

For what it is worth, I've been using my Wii Fit board for nearly a month on 4 alkaline batteries and have not had any problems.

I recommend rechargeable NiMH batteries with a 15-minute quick charger. Always have four more batteries than you need in your machine, ie: if you have a Wii Fit, a Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar, and two Wiimotes, then you should have 16 batteries total (4 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 4 spare).

Good luck!

My wii fit plus tell me the i have lost my connection

First, the batteries in the Balance Board could simply be dead or need to be recharged.

After ensuring the batteries are good, if it still does not communicate with the Wii, take the battery cover off the balance board, you will see a small red button. On the front of the Wii unit itself, there is also a small red button. Press them both within a short amount of time to sync them together. From this point forward, they should be able to talk to each other.

I had been using my Wii fit without any problems until I got (1) a rechargeable battery pack and (2) Wii fit plus. Since then, I don't get very far until the blue light on the balance board starts flashing...

the rechargeable batteries have a rating system, for how long they last.
a battery with 850mHa will last a far shorter time than 1 with 2500mHa rating.
and non rechargeable batteries have a much loger life span than all rechargeables.
Also rechargeables are 1.2 volt instead of 1.5 volt and will aleays run down alot quicker.

I've tried to play some balance games on the wii fit and the last few times i've tried it it says communications with the wii remote have failed please push "a" to reconnect (HELP PLEASE) i'm getting...

First, I would check the batteries in the Wii Remote. Low batteries will make the Wii Remote signal flicker. After that, I would re-sync the Wii remote by opening the back of the remote and pressing the sync button, after you turn the Wii on, of course.

Balance board keeps losing communication

I can at least point you in the direction of the instruction manual:

My wi power source just quit

Guest: Rechargable batteries are only 1.2 V each. You should get up to 4.8 V.

I highly suggest running your Wii Fit on nothing other than Alkaline batteries. I've had my Wii Fit for over 3 months and still use the original batteries.

If you feel like you need rechargables, that's fine, but I recommend a quality set of regular AA rechargable batteries that comes with a quick charger (IE: 1-hour). Stick to the same brand of batteries and buy enough for each Wii-Mote, Wireless Guitar, Wii Fit Balance Board, etc.

Amy - Keep in mind that your Wii Fit balance board will ONLY turn on when your program (ie: Wii Fit) is loaded and ready to go. Since the balance board takes up one of the four available Wii-Mote channels, make sure all but one Wii-Mote is turned off before starting Wii-Fit.

My wii fit balance board says to step off and press A

You need to load it, stand on the board, step off, and then press A. I have a WiiFit and that happens. It expects you to be standing on it.

Problem with wii fit rechargeable battery pack

make sure the battery charger is connected, and that the port connections are tight, other than that I would say you have a faulty charger.

Cant charge battery pack for wii fit balance board

You may want to send an email to [email protected]. In the meantime, try keeping it plugged into the USB port for at least an hour, or perhaps overnight. See if the light stops flashing and stays on. Then try plugging it back into the Wii Fit unit.

My personal suggestion is to return the charger and battery and buy a 15-minute charger and four more NiMH AA batteries than you need for all of your accessories. Not only are AA batteries compatible with all your accessories, but you won't be out a gizmo while it's needing to be charged.

Good luck!
