First find out if you are dealing with a D2700 or the newer enhanced version. Press any 2 buttons and *,if you get a green LED and 6 beeps it is the new version. Old version remove battery and press any button. New version remove battery, press any number for 10 seconds,release, reconnect battery, press and hold the A button within 3 seconds, 6 beeps, release A button. the lock is at default and ready to program. To program new version 12345 A1A new combo A new combo this will set a new master code, if you are only using 1 code to open the lock this should suffice.

Remove power pack and press and hold 5 for 10 seconds
replace battery pack and with in 5 seconds enter master code
12345 and it should be reset.
Make sure the batteries are new or full power
add code type 12345Q_ _ _ _ _Q

Example 12345Q55555Q
new code must be same length as master code

Put new batteries in and went through the reset process but it won't accept the code. We have a DL2700 and the last time I changed the batteries I had no problem resetting it.

I have a simplex T2 DL2700 I put in the code the light turns green but nothing happens. It you use to make a noise and unlock now it doesn't do that any more.

We have a Alarm Lock DL2700 series lock. I need to change the Master Code but it does not work by the process given in the Programming sheet.It does not accept the new code.

I have a T2 that has the 12345 code as an entry code. Don't know how this happend. Master code was changed to 54321. I have disconnected the battery and held a key to erase all codes. It only erased one...
