Have usually been able to turn off maker immediately when it stops. However, this time I was unaware it had stopped and was not able to immediately turn off. Now it does not turn on. I suspect motor burn out. What to do? Buy new motor? Have to buy new maker?
Yes I too would guess motor burnout ( Motor is very overworked as ice cream hardens) You could replace the motor but I would suggest buying a new one because the cost of a major repair like that may very well cost more then a new unit!
I hope I answered the question to your satisfaction!
