How do I get my TV out of standby mode? Press the power button once. If the TV does not turn on, observe the LED indicator, usually located on the TV's lower front panel. Is the standby led on the front lit. If not likely the problem is with power supply. If the standby led is on does it go off when the power button is pressed? Does the led blink. If so count the blinks and get back. The power supply provides an standby voltage to the main board. If the standby led is lit then this voltage is present. When the power button is pressed the micro sends a turn on voltage to the power board. Normally the power supply will respond and all other voltages needed to operate the set will come up. if a component is shorted the micro will not turn on the power board and will usually give a failure code via the standby led.

i have the exact same error with same projector. did you manage to solve this?

my status led blinked red 6 times indicating a "lamp error" which wasn't helpful. i also tried removing and replacing lamp but didn't work.

This would be "Standby"
When you press standby, the display and audio turn off and a blank screen is displayed for 15 minutes.
You can change the amount of time the projector stays in standby mode; see “Standby Time” on page 27 for details.
The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.
• If you press standby again within 15 minutes, the projector returns to normal operations immediately. The LED changes from orange to green.
• If you press standby again after 15 minutes, there is about a 60 second delay before the lamp turns back on. The LED flashes green while the lamp is re-lighting.
• If you don’t press standby again, the lamp turns off after 15 minutes. The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.

I had this same problem and after doing some research, I removed the lamp, cleaned it and plugged it back in. It fixed my problem completely.
