it means that the developing unit connector is not connected. you can find it near the location of the toner waste container. there will find one screw lock for the cover of developer harness. possibly one of the wires of the developing unit is open. you can solve it by just twisting or untwisting that wire; not need to replace just twist it or untwist it. :)
open the front panel. The developer unit is on the right hand side in the middle. There is a handle to turn to release it (the door won't close if it's not right) and under the black handle (you'll have to swing out the toner bottle) you'll see a plug/connector with wires. It's most likely unplugged form the plug. Just reseat the connector into the plug there on the far left side under the unit and turn it on! Make sure the unit is off and machine unplugged just to be safe!
This can be a problem with the corona wire above the drum, or the wire on the right below the drum. If you open the front door and drop the handle, under the drum you can gently put your finger in the right slot. If you feel a wire there, at least it's not broken.
This is usuaally caused by a broken wire, sometimes by dirt in the slot where the wire is, If you feel a wire there, pull out the blue plastic thingie and push it back in. you can do this with the plastic thingie above the drum too. supposedly this cleans the wire.
This code resets by opening and shutting the front door. If it comes back, it is probably broken and you need to call for service.
