The installer says Hotspot Shield is causing a compatibility issue but I have completely uninstalled Hotspot sheild.
Did you uninstall with a program like Revo uninstaller? That program finds files that are often left behind with a routine uninstall.

Expat Shield is for people trying to access UK programs from a non UK IP address. So not designed to work for you. You need something that gives you a US IP instead

I have a feeling that this is a problem at the head end (anchor free). as I am having the same problem. I have tried the same as you, and on 2 different hard drives. I will let you know if I get any joy.

If your browser is asking you for a password it is the site you are connecting too. ExpatShield does not require any authentication. Try re-installing the application and see if you are able to connect. It might also help if you provide screen-shots as I just installed the application and was unable to reproduce your issue.

that is most probably being caused by some addons. especially Adobe if you have it installed. try to uninstall it and then initiate expat shield 2.02. if it works, go for older Adobe programs.
