Program manual We have a KX-T7730 (Switchboard phone ) and extension phones KX-T7720. I do not have a manual for programming and would like to purchase one if possible. Online all I can find is the quick program guide which does not help. My problem is that I need to know how to change phones ringing. There are some extensions KX-T7720 that I do not want to ring at all and there are some extensions KX-T7720 that I want to ring after so many rings at the front desk. I know this can be done because we had them set up before we moved but I need to reprogram the phones. Can anyone help me? Thank You

I am sorry. I wish people on this website didn't get so grouchy when dumb people like me ask a question and are not sure how to ask it. I guess I need to know what I am talking about before I ask a question....which would mean that I don't need help....which is the only reason I am on this website trying to find help from people that know what they are talking about. I am sorry.

I have a KX-TA1232 Advanced Hybrid Phone system with KX-T7720-B and KX-T7730-B stations and a KX-T7740-B on a KX-7730-B for the receptionist. This system was replace for a brief period and then brought back in because we liked it better. No where in the manual can I find how to make certain extensions ring during an incoming call. After a certain number of rings they all start to ring, but I want certain phone stations to ring immediately when the call comes in. Can you help, and is this enough info?

  • Anonymous Mar 14, 2014

I read the manual and it says you can change the # of rings "ring count " but I don't know how to find ring count and do that.

Hello please help i want to set my KX_T7730 so that calls from out side can ring to an extension and also enable an extension to call out. Kindly help

  • Anonymous Mar 27, 2014

KX-T7020. We need to mute the outside, incoming call ring but still be able to hear the tone from a direct page from another extension, on one phone only. I know this can be done because that is how it was originally set up. We had a power outage and had to reset out system which removed that feature.

Your phone will work on a few different Panasonic phone systems. If you are looking for manuals on KX-T7720 and KX-T7720 all you will find is a user guide for the phone. You need to determine the model number of your phone system before starting to look for a programming manual.

  • Anonymous Jul 24, 2007

KX-T7720 is the phone. You will not find what you are looking for looking at ANY phone. Nobody can help you without knowing which Panasonic phone system you have.

This is like asking for help with your computer and only giving the model number of the monitor as information. Example: it's a Dell monitor so you probably have a Dell computer... which one?

The not helpful rating is a slap in the face here. Sorry I tried...

  • Anonymous Jul 26, 2007

I cannot help you... nobody can help you if you do not provide more information. All you have given us is a model number from a phone that can be used on different Pansonic phone systems and then you are asking for help with your mystery Panasonic phone system.

I asked for this information and explained the reason but you left negative feedback saying it was not helpful.

Hi I am working at the Switchboard. I have a Panasonic KX-T7730 that is seven years old. Every office has an extension code and a name. I want to change the display names of the extensions as it still...

This has to be done on Ext 101, or whichever phone is the programming phone. Press program *#1234. Then enter in 004. Press Speakerphone. It should be asking for a jack number. You can press speakerphone again to go to the first ext. Spell out the name using the keypad (2 is A, B and C and so on). When done press the autodial/store button. Then you can press speakerphone to go to the next phone. To get out of programming just pick up and hang up your phone or press the program button.

Hi I have panasonic kx-t7730 and I have a problem. We have two lines but only rings on switchboard. We also Use cordless panasonic phone but it does not ring unles i transfer to it. I have already done...

In a TA series, the ringing is programmed in system programs 408-410. You go to the main phone, enter system programming, and select those options and turn on ringing per line and per extension.
