I had the same problem. I had the circle dance and looked around for a fix. Finally found a site that sends out do it yourself kits. I was apprehensive because I'm not that good at fixing things. I tried it out because it is a lot cheaper then a lot of other places and I found it on a forum that recommended it. Anyways, I'm here to say that the kit worked and it only cost me $20. A lot cheaper then anything else out there. It took me about 2 hours to finish and I am so happy. I really love my Roomba. Anyways, the site is http://www.eesolutions.ca . Check it out if you have the circle dance problem.
Roomba going in circles.
Called irobot and if reseting it (by taking out the battery, unplugging it from the charger, and holding down the power button for 30 seconds), didn't work, turn the roomba over, take a compressor and blow air into the front. Maybe a shop vac would also work. We cleaned out the whole thing while we were at it. And now it works just fine. The tech person at irobot was very helpful.
I have the same problem. Generally it tends to go backwards in its rotation around.
