Home theater playback green/yellow

When viewing DVDs my home theater system plays them back in a very yellowish green color. I hvae looked through the instruction manual for any info for resolving this problem, but it is no help.

I have USA DVDs and can not play then on my blu ray

Not all DVD players can play both DVD and Blu Ray. You will have to get a player that plays both formats or you will have to get an old DVD player.

My RCA RTD325W system only plays DVDs in blue, yellow and white. Why? All of the connections seem to be hooked up correctly.

Please check the connections according to the used video analog output with the figures below:

I am in Australia and have a Panasonic SC-HT878 DVD player that plays PAL DVDs fine through my TEAC TV but when I play NTSC DVDs I only get a black and white picture. How do I fix this so my NTSC DVDs play...

There should be a setting on the DVD's menu for output of picture. You should look under colour settings, to see if it has got NTSC output. You should also check your TV it might not be set to NTSC aswell. You can look in the user manual of the DVD to see if says anything about NTSC playback. If you have lost the manual you can download it for free on the Panasonic website.
If it won't playback NTSC discs, I'd guess you can get an adapter from somewhere.

Our Bose 321 Entertainment System is only playing DVDs in black and white - no color at all.

Be sure that in the setup menu, you are selected for the correct output format (either component which is BLUE/RED/GREEN + audio or composit which is just YELLOW + audio. If that is correct, I would suggest a call to the BOSE technical support center.

Panaonic Home Theatre DVD system only plays movies inblack white

Check the region and picture settings on the home theatre's dvd player, it could be set to put out a component signal, or it could be set to a PAL region rather than NTSC
