I have a PowerShot SD 110. My images have become terribly blurry; they look like there's red stuff dripping down the viewfinder.

SOURCE: Battery Charger Olympus li-40c

I had this problem a few weeks ago (i.e. flashing red LED). All I did was remove the power plug from the charging unit, turned it around 180 degrees, then plugged it back into the charging unit. Red LED came on steady & the battery (which is the one that came with the camera) recharged as normal.

When using the viewfinder the image is blurry, however, the image is crisp when using the LCD monitor.

If the image is clear on the LCD and you can take sharp pictures, then your main optics and electronics are good. Your camera has an adjustable viewfinder. Check the manual to see how to adjust for your vision.

New canon powershot S51S/ when I change the lcd screen to the viewfinder it is blurry. How do I get a clear image through the view finder?

There is a little knob to the left of the viewfinder called the diopter adjustment. Turn that.

Whats wrong with my viewfinder?

I don't have my camera with me, so I may be off on the exact placement, and I hope I'm not telling you something you already know and the problem is worse, but on the left side of the viewfinder itself is a tiny dial that adjusts the focus. Just look the the viewfinder and play with the dial to adjust to your eyesight.

SPIN THE LITTE WHEEL JUST TO THE LEFT OF THE VIEWFINDER, THAT IS THE VIEWFINDER FOCUS!

Viewfinder

There's a little scrolling wheel to the left of the viewfinder; move it up or down until the image is clearest.
