Navman in no longer offering map support for it's iCN 510. This means if there is a new road or community, this unit will not recognize it.
I am really mad about this. I spent $400 2 years ago for something that will not have anymore map updates. Here is there reply when I wrote to them about it. Class action suit anyone?

Dear Henry,

Thank you for contacting Navman Technical Support.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. Navman has decided not to release further map updates for these device due to changes in technology over the last year. We have changed the chipsetGPS reception - 1.gif and software1.gif platform and are unable to update this device. The Navman 500 series was released with an updated map version last 2005.

If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us, we'll be more than happy to help.
Kind regards,
Ofelia

Not coming up full post code on tom tom 930

Unfortunately a street number is now required after initial 3 post code digits- a huge and dissappointing step back from the older tom tom option of finding the destination based solely on the full postcode-not all destinations have a street number or the number may not be known (stupid Tom Tom designers).
The only solution I know of is to make up a number (Not always practical if destination is office block for example) or use the point on map option (not as acurate) or the latitude/longitude option which is only really usefull for rural destinations in the middle of no where. Tom Tom really need to produce a fix for this major oversight in the form of a software update.
