Hey... i am in Japan and I have a NTT VDSL modem that works fine. I just bought a Belkin F5D8233-4 Router so I can set up a wireless network at home. I have connected all the cables nps. reset both modem, router and laptop, and can't get a connection from laptop to router??? Please help!!!
Hi, I had the same problem with my MBP and the best solution I found was:
Dissable the Wlan security and use Mac Address control only for the wireless. This will keep your network secure anyway and you can connect normally.
The only inconvenience is that when you want to connect other computers to your wireless you have to enter its MAC address on the list.
Remember to set the list as Allow.
If you tell me the version number of your Belkin wireless router , i can fix this issue.Any Routers issue contact me,, i can help you out. copy and paste this address to Browse,Mentioned below http://techhobbies.blogspot.com
