adjust the top thread tension to stop the loop
Yes we tried that but it didn't work, but thank you for your suggestion.
try cleaning the top thread tension disk by backing the tension dial off and use a can of air and some unwaxed dental floss or some thread to clean in between the disks, then with the presser foot up try adjusting the top thread tension and see if that will stop the bobbin thread looping, if it doesn't help try adjusting the bobbin tension and and clean in the bobbin area for lint or loose threads, and if that doesn't help then the machine needs to be serviced.
