Our unit had leaking connection on outlet side of fill solenoid valve. Any leak will cause water to accumulate in base pan. there is a float switch in base pan as a safety mechanism when water is in pan it causes a styrofoam float to rise and make contact with switch. This tells machine there is a leak creates error code to run pump continuously until water is removed from base. Disconnet electric from unit first. you must pull dishwasher out to get at back panel. Remove lower back panel to get access to mechanicals of unit. Once you remove panel you should see water in pan. If you see water that is most likely same issue we had. soak up excess water or tilt unit to drain water out of pan. once water is gone unit should start normally. If you look underneath while unit starts up - don't touch anything while unit is connected to electricity! You should notice where water is coming from. Our unit leaked at hose connection from outlet side of solenoid fill valve. connector is a plastic cam-lock fitting with a flow sensor integrated into it. there is an o-ring between the two parts. it comes apart with a very small amount of counter-clockwise motion. perhaps only five or ten degrees of indexing and it falls right off. it is a very flimsy connection for the main water line. the o-ring on our unit Was slightly deformed and not seated correctly. could have been from original installers 4 years earlier! Asko needs to re-design this part. I replaced o-ring and unit is working again however I do not trust that this fitting will hold up over time. Very poor design in my opinion. Other design flaw I noticed while looking at mechanicals is circulating pump isolation mount is not in correct location for pump motor. rubber mount is stressed to the point of almost tearing off! No way for me to correct this since location of mount does not match position of motor. We will not replace this unit with another ASKO when it goes.

You will need to remove the bottom panel of the unit below the door that exposess the motor and the electrical along with water hook up. Now you will nee to manually go through the cylces (or let the machine cycle) to rinse. Once in the rinse cycle you should have heard the selinoid activate to drain the water. This selinoid click and pulls an arm down when in drain mode if you are looking under the unit you will either hear it or see this activate. If not then the selinoid is out, if you hear it activat then you need to look at the back of the motor to see if the motor itself is turning. You should be able to see the fins on the back of the motor turn once it goes into drain cycle. If you do not see the motor fins turning (you have to look through the vent slots located on the back of the motor) you acan take a small slotted head screwdriver and with the power off, you can insert this screwdriver into the vent holes in the back of the motor to spin (or move) the motor fins. If they do not move freely then the motor itself is froze up in that case a new one is needed. If the spin then try your drain cycle again since you may have unfroze the drain motor.

F2 fault water in the base remove dishwasher from under the bench and tip back water will run out,then it will restart.remove rear lower panel and run the dishwasher you may find a leak,also check that the inlet valve is shutting off and not filling the dishwasher up overnight.hope this helps.

We were told by an ASKO technician that it has something to do with a balance issue. You could try tilting the machine forward (make sure you've removed side screws into walls first though otherwise you could damage the cupboards).

This is a anti flood activation. It is a safety device (polystireen float and micro switch at the base of the washer) that keeps the drain motor running due to water leak / spill detection. Dry the water and rectify the leak (normaly pipe or clamp leak) and this should solve the problem.
