If your car stero has a stereo audio input connector then you can plug a cable in the headphone on the IPod and the other end of the cable into the stereo audio input on the car stereo.
If you don't have an stereo input on the car stereo then you can buy a FM transmitter that is powered by the car's cigarette socket, connect the IPod to the transmitter, switch on the car radio and tune it to the FM station that matches the FM transmitter.
You can now listen to your IPod from the car radio.

Have you tried going into the menu and searching for this function? Also some car stereo's have a sub menu when the radio is turned off or in stanby mode it usually can be reached by pushing your menu button and holding for a few seconds also again the power has to be in standby mode. if this works look through menu for your problem.

No video from ipod

Do you have the green cord that attaches to the parking break hooked up?
This stereo is designed so that you cannot watch videos while driving, therefore you need to have the parking break on in order to get video.
when you play a dvd with out the parking break on, you will only get sound.

Screen wont move

There is a guy on ebay who does that repair service on the Pioneer AVH models. I thinks its $100 and change for the service plus shipping costs. Not a bad deal, beats going Pioneer! His service is also same day. http://cgi.ebay.com/AVH-P7500dvd-AVH-P6500dvd-MORE-repair-service_W0QQitemZ180196772416QQihZ008QQcategoryZ32825QQcmdZViewItem
