Most probably there's a break in the charging circuit. Is the charger in working order? CHECK THE OUTPUT VOLTAGE OF THE CHARGER. Try booting with the power connected. If it starts, then the battery is dead. If still doesn't work, then need to check internal circuit.
On your home screen tap the the app button, then tap the screen saver app. Tap Enable Screensaver to turn the screensaver mode on or off. Then remove the check to "service enable" check box.
Usually there is a pc. of plastic that appears to be a power button but inside of the case there will be an actual button connected to wires that is pushed when you push the button outside of the case. Should be able to use a toothpick to push in on the little circle u see inside of the case. If not you can remove the cover and order the part that is broken. http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/wondermedia-based/12092-android-2-2-via-chipset-7inch-epad-mid-power-button-not-working.html this person dropped theirs and the wires came loose inside of the case.
Hi James. The website for ZeePad is www.zeepad.net but unfortunately, there is no contact information there that I've been able to find. There is indeed a link for "Contact Us" but it's not operational.
I've worked on quite a few of these tablets--never the Zeepad specifically, but you are likely to find that by the time you get the replacement power button and find someone to install it, it will be cheaper in the end to replace the tablet. I hope I'm wrong, but many of these imports are just so inexpensively built it's just not cost-effective to repair them.
