I'm trying to play Hitman Absolution, when i insert the disc into the ps3, it tries to read it, makes an ejecting noise then tries to read it again to no avail. The PS3 doesnt read the game at all
Hmm. May be because the disc is scratched? Not sure what it would be otherwise, if other games work just fine.

Have you tried hitting the reset button on the controller? While it's plugged in via USB, get something small and hit the reset button on the back. (Right next to the front and center screw)

If your system will not take a disc, then you most likely have a faulty disc loader. I would recommend contacting Sony for repairs.
