Everything is working except the incline feature of the treadmill. When we attempt to do the initial incline calibration on the electronic console, it gives us an error message that incline calibration cannot be performed. We are also unable to adjust the incline manually.

It was the emergency tag that you attached to yourself when you run (in case you fall over - the belt then stops etc). i had not connected it properly

I have a life fitness T3 showing an error FOLDED. What does that mean?

The treadmill has a 'folding' feature for the incline setting. A safety switch must be reading this feature as not locked. Try this. Set the incline to 0% and the speed to zero. Step in front of the treadmill and using both hands carefully raise the whole front until the legs click and lock into place.
To lower the treadmill kneel behind the treadmill. Place your Right hand on the belt and lean your weight on it. At the back of the treadmill on the Left side panel is a lever. Pull this lever until the treadmill stops lowering.

Light switch turns on when cable plugged in; however, the treadmill is not starting. Please help. Nothing is coming on the console.

You need to be on the console for it to start. (I presume you are on it). Make sure the screen and console are properly connected.
if this is a new device, call the service technicians, they would know best. This device has a known problem with the console.

F3 Basic problem. Console problem

yes, if the machine is still under warranty make the dealer come and fix the console. the only other thing it could be is a faulty electrical connection but it does not sound like it. The quality of the unit should be better!!! Hope this is helpful:) thx

I have noticed a few times that my f3 life fitness treadmill changes pace on me, and so does the incline. i can see it on the monitor, also it has started feeling like the belt is catching or something, or...

It might just need a simple adjustment of the running belt that can eliminate the slipping refer to you owner's manual for the procedure. It will be close to all treadmill adjustments.
Here is a generic procedure for adjusting the belt:
If the walking belt slips when walked on. Run the treadmill @ 3 to 4 mph, walk for a few minutes, Using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller adjustment bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. Then repeat adjusting procedure until walking belt is properly tightened.

On trying to start my Life Fitness F3 I have a console display message PUT BACK MAG. Please can you tell me what I nead to do to clear this message and get started? Thank you for your assistance

First, check and make sure the safety magnet is in the correct place. If not, place magnet. If it is, then the safety magnet sensor, sensor cable, or the console is messing up.
